Requirements

If you don't have any idea where to start, don't worry. We have created a detailed VPS Installation Guide for Zender.

Before you proceed, please make sure that your server has the following requirements satisfied.

Server

Apache, Nginx or LiteSpeed (Nginx Recommended)
mod_rewrite enabled if using Apache
SSH access for WhatsApp Server
PHP 8.3 or later
MySQL 5.7 or later

No SSH Access

If your current server doesn't have SSH access like most cPanel hosting does, you can rent a separate VPS server and use it as your WhatsApp server. This is actually a better option because you can easily scale up the server when your WhatsApp users increase.

Local Server Hosting

We strongly do not recommend installing and using Zender on a localhost machine because some features like the android gateway app and AI requires the site to be accessible via internet.
